1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

LensGuard does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All sensor readings (magnetic field, light, proximity, accelerometer) are processed entirely on your device and never sent to any server.

2. CAMERA USAGE

The camera permission is used solely for the Infrared Lens Detector and Camera Hunter features, which display a live camera preview to help identify infrared light sources and lens reflections. No images or video are recorded, stored, or uploaded.

3. LOCATION PERMISSION

The location permission is required by Android to perform WiFi and Bluetooth scanning. LensGuard does not track or store your location. Location data is never shared with any third party.

4. BLUETOOTH PERMISSION

Bluetooth scanning is used only during the Camera Hunter scan to detect nearby Bluetooth devices that may indicate a hidden camera. No device data is stored beyond the current scan session.

5. ADVERTISING

LensGuard displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain data to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com). You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings under Google → Ads.

6. INTERNET PERMISSION

Internet access is used exclusively for loading AdMob advertisements. No user data or scan results are transmitted over the internet.

7. DATA STORAGE

All app preferences (theme, language, settings) are stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The only third-party SDK used is Google AdMob. No analytics, crash reporting, or other tracking SDKs are included.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

LensGuard does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not target children.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
